Victor Kantabadouno came off the bench to score for the Syli Nationale of Guinea as they were forced by the Chipolopolo of Zambia to a 1-1 draw in their second Group D game at the ongoing Total Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) in Cameroon.
The top of the table clash at Stade Omnisports Limbe saw the Syli Nationale of Guinea starting the game in their usual manner of holding onto the ball possession as they did against Namibia in their opening game.
Karifala Keita fouled Paul Katema in the second minute of the game to open up the duel.
In the fourth minute, Guinea goalkeeper, Moussa Camara mishandled the ball but Emmanuel Chabula could not capitalise on the error.
Collins Sikombe located Kelvin Kampamba Mubanga in the box, but the latter’s goal was ruled out for offside in the 13th minute.
Chipolopolo of Zambia goalkeeper, Allan Chibwe had a knock in the 23rd minute and was attended to by the medical personnel with a bandaged head after surviving Guinea’s attacking threats.
In the 32nd minute, Karifala Keita latches on to a loose ball in Zambia’s box 18, but his effort was well saved by Allan Chibwe.
Kampamba’s free-kick in the 42nd minute forced Moussa Camara to save the ball for a corner kick as both sides headed towards the tunnel with a goalless half time.

Zambia and Guinea are now tied on four points each ahead of their final group games against Namibia and Tanzania respectively.
