Coach Martin Ndtoungou Mpile in collaboration with Emmanuel Ndoumbe Bosso and David Pagou as assistants, have chosen three players in the Lion’s den to lead the others.
This is in abit to portray and display some sense of direction in the den, during the African Nations Championship CHAN to be hosted by Cameroon dated January 16 to February 7, 2021.
2017 AFCON winner and former Romanian first-tier side Viitorul Constanța Jacques Zoua Daogari who recently signed for AS Futuro has been named first captain of the team. He will be closely assisted by experienced CHAN participant Cotonsports’ Banga Bindjeme.

Everything being equal, the lions will launch the CHAN at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium in Yaounde January 16, 2021 at 5:00pm against Southern African giants Zimbabwe
This is their fourth participation in the CHAN as they look forward to go beyond the quarter finals level.
Group A is suit for Cameroon to battle with Zimbabwe, Mali and Burkina Faso.
