When the Intermediate Lions of Cameron face Atlas Lions of Morocco in the semi-final of the 2020 African Nations Championship (CHAN) at Stade Omnisports, Limbe, Cameroon, the host will have one thing in mind which is to dethrone the defending Champions, Morocco.
The clash promised to be a keenly contested one which will pit the defending Champions, Morocco with tournament host, Cameroon on Wednesday, February 3, 2021.
It’s also the clash of attack against defence.

Morocco has scored nine goals in four games and conceded three goals.
Cameroon on the other hand has scored four goals and conceded two goals with two of their goals coming from a defender in Solomon Banga.
Morocco won the 2018 CHAN on home soil defeating Nigeria 4-0 in the final with El-Kaabi emerging as the top goal scorer.
Host, Cameroon has surpassed their previous record at the competition by getting to the semi-final for the first time in the history of the competition.
The attacking prowess of El-Kaabi and Soufianne Rahimi will be of immense importance for Morocco if they are to break down the defensive agility of Cameroon.
Cameroon will have to put up a solid defensive display with Etame and goalkeeper, Hashou Kerido expected to up their games with the intense offensive threat from Morocco.
Before their 2-1 win over DR Congo, it seemed like Cameroon lacked attacking threats. The input of Felix Oukine Tcheoude and Yannick N’Deng (the goal-scorers against DR Congo) will be immense as who needs this tie most will make it to the final.
As Guinea and Mali await the winner of this duel, it’s sure to be a keenly contested semi-final clash as Limbe host the clash of the Lions. The Lions derby.
