Mory Kanté who was sent off in the quarter-final game between Guinea and Rwanda is suspended for the next two Syli National Local games, for committing a gross foul on an opponent, according to the Confederation of African Football (CAF) disciplinary jury.
To this end, the Guinean midfielder will not compete in the semi-final against Mali, as well as either the third-place match or final.
Mory Kanté has also considered it necessary to visit the injured Rwandan player and captain, Jacques Tuyisenge to wish him a speedy recovery after apologizing to his teammates.
Suffice it to say the end of the course for Mory Kanté in this year’s African Nations Championship (CHAN), Cameroon 2020.
