The Tanzania Football Federation has confirmed defender, Erasto Edward Nyoni of Simba Sports Club has been allowed to leave their camp for home from the ongoing African Nations Championship (CHAN) squad in Cameroon.
The defender hasn’t played or train with the Taifa Stars since they arrived in Cameroon for their Group D commitments against, Namibia, Guinea, and Zambia.
The former Rolling Stone, A.F.C Arusha, Vital’O, and Azam FC defensive midfielder, Erasto Edward Nyoni, 32, has scored six goals for Taifa against the likes of Burkina Faso, Gambia, Botswana, Zambia, Uganda, and Sudan.
He has over 80 caps for the Taifa Stars.
Tanzania will trade tackles with group leaders, Guinea in their final Group D encounter on Wednesday after amassing three points from two games against Zambia and Namibia.
