On the know your NPFL players today, we have NPFL and Enyimba super striker in the house, Tosin Omoyele.

Tosin Omoyele is a Professional Footballer who started his career from the grassroot in Lagos (Mageco Academy) before teaming up with COD United also in Lagos.

Although he is from Ogun State, Tosin Omoyele has spent most of his life living in Lagos with his parents.

Omoyele also played for Osun United before joining Plateau United where he moved to Enyimba.

Omoyele while speaking with kick442.com said;

“I started from the street, playing the normal street soccer for years as a kid and that passion keeps me going although I never had challenges that ever made me think of giving up.”

When asked about how he felt when he signed his first Nigeria Professional Football League contract, he said he felt great.

“I felt great because it was the start of a new adventure in my career and when Enyimba came calling, I took my time to think about the move and have never for once felt bad joining them.

“Enyimba is a new challenge for me and my teammates and the coaching crew have really helped me settled fast into the club.”

Omoyele Tosin who have 3 goals already to his credit this season said he felt good scoring two goals against his former side, Plateau United.

Like every other Nigerian footballer, he supports Barcelona and it will be a dream come true if he gets the opportunity to play at the Camp Nou.

And ahead of their CAF Confederations Cup match against Rivers United in Aba tomorrow, Omoyele and his teammates wants to make the global fans of Enyimba happy.

“We hope to make our fans happy after tomorrow’s game. It’s not a must I score but I will try my best to make sure the team come out victorious and if I have the chance to score, I will definitely do that.

“Our target as a team is to be successful on all fronts this season and I believe by God’s grace, we will achieve that,” he added.

Tosin Omoyele who is expected to lead the attacking line for Enyimba against Rivers United tomorrow said Barcelona and Argentine forward, Lionel Messi is his role model.
