Super Eagles players and prospective players in Europe continue to hustle with their clubs with the hope of getting continental slots, gaining promotion as well as avoiding relegation.

Blackburn 3-1 Bristol City
22-year-old Tosin Adarabioyo got a goal for Blackburn and played all 90 minutes as Blackburn continue to push for a promotion playoff with just one point adrift of 6th placed Preston North End. Tosin scored Blackburn’s second goal of the match with a beautiful strike in the 61st minute to put his side ahead for the first time in the game.
West Brom 0-0 Birmingham City
Semi Ajayi played full 90 minutes for West Bromwich Albion in their 0-0 draw with Birmingham City, on Saturday, June 20, 2020, as his club push for one of the English Premier League, EPL promotion spot.
Ajayi’s match statistics showed that he made three clearances, three interceptions, and two tackles. He had four ground duels of which two was won, one aerial duel which he won, losing possession five times, and fouled once.
Ajayi also had 69 touches, 54 accurate passes, and six long balls of which four was successful.
Semi Ajayi could not add to his goals tally for West Bromwich Albion in their promotion quest.
Kanu Nwankwo, Brown Ideye, and Osaze Peter Odemwingie are former Super Eagles players that have featured for West Bromwich Albion in time past.
QPR 0-1 Barnsley
Eberchi Eze and Bright Osayi Samuel both featured for Queens Park Rangers, QPR during their 0-1 home loss to Barnsley on Saturday, June 20, 2020.
Both players played full 90 minutes for QPR. Eberechi Eze had 65 touches, 31 accurate passes, two key passes, four crosses in which two was accurate, five long balls in which three was accurate, and two big chances created. Eze attempted one shot on target, two shots off target, 12 dribble attempts of which ten was successful, and 16 ground duels of which 12 was won. Eberechi also had 16 aerial duels, lost possession 12 times, committed one foul, and was fouled twice.
Bright Osayi Samuel on his part had 32 touches, 13 accurate passes, and six dribble attempts of which five was successful. Bright had 14 ground duels of which eight was won, one aerial duel, lost possession 11 times, committed one foul, was fouled once, and had one offside call against him.
Simoes’s goal in the 7th minute was enough for Barnsley to secure a precious away win over QPR.

Watford 1-1 Leicester
Kelechi Iheanacho played 13 minutes while Wilfred Ndidi saw 90 minutes of action in Leicester City’s 1-1 draw against Watford.
