Toni Conceicao: “I have as an ambition to bring up new talents” .

Coach Antonio Conceicao Da Silva Oliveira has made his ambitions of nursing young talents clear, before the game pitting Cameroon against Cape Verde on November 13th.

The Portuguese is a star contrast to Clarence Seedorf, his predecessor he replaced on September 21st 2019.

“It’s an honour and responsibility vested on me and I will like to thank FECAFOOT, the president and the minister,” coach Conceicao told”

“We have a big camp ahead of us; it does not make us scared but motivates us. We only want to do well to represent the country. We are tracking other categories like the under-17 and under-23. I have worked with youths in my career, and I have the ambitions of bringing up new talents”, perhaps was the most catching phrase.”

“I don’t feel any pressure, as a player my coaches taught me how to deal with pressure. The only pressure I have is to work and produce like a professional together with my staff.”

Cameroon is without doubt Conceicao’s biggest job since his managerial spell began in 1999 with Braga B.

Toni Conceicao told reporters in his pre match tourney that, himself together with the team have tracked up to 9 Cameroon League 1 games, something that has been missing for quite a while.
