Remo Stars’ Tolulope Ojo after his side’s 1-0 win over Gombe United in the Matchday 32 of the 2021/2022 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) says winning the 2022 West Africa Zone B (WAFU-B) U-20 Championship was a great achievement for his career.
“Winning the WAFU-B U-20 Championship was a great achievement in my career because everyone dreams to put on the green, white, green national team colour. For me to win the Most Valuable Player of the final is something great and a good achievement for someone’s career. I am very happy.” He told www.kick442.com.
Tolulope Ojo after winning the WAFU-B U-20 Championship with the Flying Eagles returned to Remo Stars and played against Shooting Stars (1-1) and recently during his team’s 1-0 win against Gombe United.
“It was a good victory for us because it was a match that we must win after failing to win our last three games and we thank God we came out victorious at the end of the match.
“We didn’t win any of our last three games. With this victory, we can say to ourselves that we to build on it for our next games.” Says Ojo during his post-match reaction.
Remo Stars will next face Akwa United as Ojo is confident that the Sky Blue Stars can get a favourable result in Uyo.
“If they can come here to Ikenne from Uyo and win us, we can as go there and win them. We have to believe in ourselves because we need that match and give our all. We can pick three points in Uyo.” He concluded.
