Wairimu Jane, a Kenyan setter with mass experience in the game of Volleyball praised Botswana for a giving Kenya a good game while coming up with the popular phrase “may the best team win,” when asked if she felt nervous before the Cameroon encounter on Tuesday.

The Tokyo 2020 Women’s Volleyball Olympic Qualifiers has hit boiling point and now the two biggest names on the continent go against each other on Tuesday 7th.

The 34 year old and her Kenyan peers waved aside Botswana by three sets to ‘love’ on Monday, January 6th, a day after they defeated Egypt but the sternest test awaits on Tuesday.

Wairimu talking of Botswana’s potentials said “every team is good, and everyone can make for the Olympics.”

“Botswana did their best. It was not an easy match even if it ended 3-0.”

Talking about rivals Cameroon, Wairimu went on:”may the best team win. Cameroon is a good team. Kenya is a good team equally.

The game is the second of two games on Tuesday and starts at 7:00 pm Cameroon time.
