Indomitable Lions of Cameroon and Olympique Lyonnais forward Karl Toko Ekambi Louis Brilliant has continued his brilliant run in the French Ligue 1 championship.
The lethal finisher returned to the scoresheet getting two of side’s goals in a 3-1 win away at FC Metz.
Ekambi scored twice in the second segment of of the game in the 47th and 60th minute after Memphis Deepay had given the visitors the lead in the 17th minute off an assist from Karl Toko Ekambi. .
Farid Boulaya pulled one back in the 75th but Lyon protected their lead till full-time.
A red card apiece in the last five minutes of the game meant both sides finished the game with ten players.
Lyon currently occupies the third spot on the log with 26 points from 13 games this term.
Lyon travel to Paris next week to confront leaders and defending champions PSG in match-day 14 of the French Ligue 1 championship.
The 28-year-old forward has scored seven goals and provided three assists in 11 French Ligue 1 games this season.
