Hawks of Togo
national football coach, Jean-Paul Abalo will hold his spot on the bench tonight as he announced yesterday in a video.
Yesterday’s confirmatory PCR test revealed negative for Covid-19 as far as the coach is concerned.
Debutant, Togo will square up with Rwanda at Stade Omnisports, Limbe, Cameroon, in their final Group C game after recording the major upset of the tournament with a 2-1 win over Cranes of Uganda to occupy the second position in the group.
The return of their coach will surely be a key motivating force for the young and energetic side responsible for the defeat of the Super Eagles of Nigeria at the WAFU-B Qualifiers.
A win or draw for Togo against Rwanda tonight depending on the result of the duel between defending Champions, Morocco, and Uganda will see the Hawks maintaining their fairy start to life with a quarter final appearance at their debut CHAN tournament.
