The executive bureau of Togolese side, AS Ghohloe-Su has discharged her entire club staff and players. The decision was taken during the AS Ghohloe-Su’s extraordinary session held on Thursday following a press release signed by the side’s Secretary General Chardey Massan.

The entire AS Ghohloe staff and players were lied off after their poor performance within the just ended Togolese division one national premier league championship.

The Aneho club had occupied the 6th spot in the Togolese Championship, with 11 points in 14 matches. Thereby recording 2 victories, 5 draws, 7 defeats, 13 goals scored and 17 goals conceded .

The team from the Southern part of Togo had picked 2 home victories and a zero game won at home.

The decision to throw out the entire staff and players is accompanied by the suspension of their various salaries.

Meanwhile, ASKO De Kara beat its city rivals, the Association Sportive de la Kozah (ASCK) to be crowned champions of Togo. It took penalties to decide the encounter after a 1-1 draw.

ASCK had opened the scoring in the 35th minute through Tchatakora Sémiou. It took a late equalizer from ASKO de Kara in the 85th minute to take the match to extra time.

Both teams failed to score in the 30 minutes of extra time, which meant a penalty shootout had to decide the champions.

Togo’s finalists will now prepare for CAF’s biggest club competitions. ASKO de Kara will represent the country in the African Champions League. ASCK will also not go back empty-handed as the runners-up will participate in the Confederation Cup.
