Tobi Amusan clocked 7.99s to place fourth at the final of the Women’s 60mH event at the ongoing Meeting Hauts-de-France Pas-de-Calais.
It was a photo finish as the three athletes who finished ahead of the Nigerian athlete finished in a time tie as they all returned 7.91s, led by Nadine Visser of Netherland who was awarded the win, followed by Christina Clemons of the USA and Nooralotta Neziri of Finland.
She came second in Heat 1 of the Women’s 60mH with a time of 8.01s to qualify for the final race.
This is Amusan’s third outing at this year’s world indoor tour.
In her first appearance of the season, Amusan powered to a Season’s Best (SB) of 7.94s to finish second in the women’s 60mH at the World Athletics Indoor Tour in Karlsruhe, as she was edged out by Finland’s Nooralotta Neziri who ran from lane 8 to take the win.
In her second meet of the season a couole of days ago, she clocked a time of 8.00s to win the women’s 60mH race at Moselle Athlelor in Metz, ahead of Taliyah Brooks who finished 2nd in 8.06s, leaving Luca Kozak to a 3rd place in 8.07s.
