French Ligue 1 side SC Amiens has confirmed the capture of 18-year-old Cameroonian midfielder N’kongue Tiki Joss for an undisclosed duration and fee.
The former Under-17 Lions midfielder struggled for first team football at the Groupama Stadium despite his brilliance in the Lyon youth teams in the last two seasons.
His switch to SC Amiens puts him in the same working environment as experienced Cameroonian defender Aurélien Chedjou Nfongang.
Joss was one of six foreign-based players drafted into coach Thomas Libiih’s squad of preselected players for the 2020 Under-17 FIFA World Cup tournament in Brazil in last October.
The strong forward is certainly a good signing for the future, especially with experienced forward Gael Kakuta linked with a move away from the Club.
