It’s exactly one (1) month after the death of Remo Stars defender and Vice Captain, Tiamiyu Kazeem. The Sagamu based club seized the opportunity of the one month remembrance to post their concern on their official socal media handles.

“It’s exactly one month today you left, time flies but memories will last a lifetime.
Loosing you was a bitter pill to swallow BUT God understands!

On Saturday, February 22, 2020, Tiamiyu Kazeem (Kaka) was allegedly killed by a Policeman from the Social Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) from the Ogun state Command. The incident occurred in Sagamu, Ogun state, Nigeria, while Kazeem was driving along Sagamu area with one of his team mate, Sanni Abubakar. Tiamiyu Kazeem has since been buried after condolence visits by members of Nigeria’s football fraternity including President of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Melvin Amaju Pinnick among others.

In a related development, Akwa Ibom Sports News Page on Facebook is demanding for justice for Late Tiamiyu Kazeem. This surfaced on their Facebook page thus.
