Gateway United Football Club have paid a condolence visit to family of Tiyamiyu Kazeem, Remo Stars assistant captain and defender allegedly killed by an operative of Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) of the Nigeria police on February 22nd, 2020.
The team led by Acting General Manager Mr Niyi Soleye sympathised with the parents, urging them not to query God but crave for his fortitude and comfort.
“It’s still like a dream. The least we could do now is to express our condolence visit. We knew Kaka to be very calm and peaceful. Who are we to query God. We pray such we not occur again”.
Responding on behalf of the family, Mrs Tiyamiyu amidst tears acknowledged the commiseration and offered some words of prayer.
Earlier, Gateway United had delivered its condolence letter to the head coach of Remo Stars Daniel Ogunmodede.
Tiyamiyi Kazeem popularly called Kaka who was an assistant captain and defender of Remo Stars FC was buried on Thursday 27th February, 2020 according to Islamic rites.
