The confederation of African Football(CAF) has invited 41 assistant Referees and  center referee for training on Video Assistance refereeing in South Africa between the 26th and 30th of this Month in Johannesburg-South Africa.

The referees are all expected to be in South Africa latest March 25th ahead of the opening ceremony of the event.

Experienced Center Referee Alioum Neant Sidi plus two assistant referees Moukouande Evariste and Elvis Guy Noupue are amongst 41 referees invited for a training in South Africa course.

Ghanaian center referee Daniel Ayi Laryea is the only referee invited from the West African Nation

The release signed by CAF assistant Secretary General in charge of Football Development Anthony Baffoe carries the names of 19 centers referees and 22 assistant referees all invited for the training.

Cameroon and Egypt are the Nations heavily represented with 3 referees for the training.

CAF have on multiple platforms confirmed VAR will be used in the upcoming 2019 AFCON in Egypt and League like the Moroccan league and the Ghanaian premier league have making the technology a part of their thoughts going forward.
