The Super Falcons list is made up of three goalkeepers, seven defenders, three midfielders and nine forwards for the four-nation football event.
The squad dominated by players that featured at the 2018 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations, include former African Women’s Footballer of the Year Asisat Oshoala.
New faces invited are; Brighton striker Ini-Abasi Umotong and Courtney Dike, who missed out of the west Africans’ all-conquering title-winning campaign last December.
Meanwhile, Dennerby has named four players on the waiting list that include; goalkeeper Alaba Jonathan, defender Ugochi Emenayo, midfielder Osas Igbinovia and striker Alice Ogebe.
The delegation of 16 players and 9 officials left Nigeria on Monday with an appointment to make the group complete abroad when players who couldn’t meet the team in Nigeria join them.Nigeria, South Korea, Romania and China are in the same group and Nigeria will face Steel Roses on January 17 without Assisat Oshoala and Desire Oparanozie who have all been left out.
