Remarkably, it is the 3rd game this season that Thierry has scored twice.
He previously achieved the same feets against Stade Renard of Melong and Union Sportive of Douala this season.

The former Astres of Douala man who joined Cotonsport in 2018 from Recreativo Da Caala in Angola has scored 7 goals this campaign with the other goal registered in match-day 11 against Bamboutos FC.

The former DAC 2000 man is therefore the lead scorer in this year’s Cameroon League 1 championship with 7 goals scored from 9 starts so far.

“I have to keep working hard for the team, that’s all that matters to me, we want to win maximum points.” Thierry stated

“The goal improves my confidence but it is also a call to work harder for better results: Thierry told

The Fomer Under 17, Under 20 and Under 23 Lion is hopeful his goals will catch the attention of the coaches of the different national team of Cameroon in the weeks ahead.

“It is normal, most players are working more with the CHAN 2020 in mind, I hope to get an opportunity to be a part of this great event on home soil”: The 27-year-old Douala born playmaker concluded.

Thierry is the only player in the league who has scored in each half of 3 different games. With his 7 goals, Nlend Samuel and Gregoire Nkama are his closest rivals for the 2019/2020 golden boot.
