Tanzania Vodafone Premier League side Azam FC have announced the transfer of their 24-year-old Cameroonian forward Alain Thierry Akono Akono to Malaysian side Negeri Sembilan.
The third-seeded VPL Premiership side took to Facebook to announce Thierry was parting company with the former intermediate Lions forward.
“We have reached an agreement with Negeri Sembilan of Malaysia, to sell our player from Cameroon, Alain Thierry Akono Akono.
Akono made six appearances for Azam since joining the Club in September.
He failed to scored an official goal for the Club but played a part in keeping his side on the 4th spot.
Akono joins Negeri Sembilan barely months after moving to Azam on a two-year deal.
He joins Novatus Dismass as one of two players that have left Azam FC to Clubs out of the continent in the past few months.
