Former Australian Under 17 forward, Teeboy Kamara has decided to switch his allegiance from playing for Australia to representing Lone Stars of Liberia at the senior level, Kick442.com can report.
The 24-year-old who has played for Australia at Under 17 level but yet to feature for them at senior level left Liberia at age six due to the Civil War and found a new home in Liberia. If recent development is something to go by, Kamara who was born in Monrovia-Liberia to Liberian parents is finally ready to represent Liberia’s Lone Stars as he has officially opted to commence a nationality switch.
Kamara currently plays for Green Gully Soccer Club has featured for the clubs such as Adelaide United, Inglewood United, Stirling Lions, Nunawading City, and Melbourne Knights before joining his current club in January 2019.
The addition of Teeboy Kamara to Lone Stars attack line will surely add more bite to the West African side that has failed to qualify for the African Cup of Nations, AFCON in recent times.
