Al Taawoun FC have their 30-year-old Cameroonian striker Leandre Gael Kana Tawamba to thank for their three points on Thursday evening in their match-day two Saudi Pro League game.
The coming to town of Al Nassr FC promised to be a tough one for Tawamba and his colleagues of Al Taawoun and so it was.
The host were reduced to ten in the 9th minute of the game when Al Moussa was shown a straight red card for a dangerous tackle.
Indomitable Lion Tawamba was deployed upfront for the team and once again Tawamba made the difference by scoring for his side in the 69th minute of the second segment in a game of few chances.
The game ended on the one-nil score thus handing a first win of the season to unbeaten Al Taawoun who have four points from two games this term.
Al Taawoun are currently ranked third with four points ahead of their next game away to 13th-placed Al Qadisiyah on Thursday.
