FECAFOOT sources have told kick442.com that the under 17 Lions of Cameroon will leave the country this Tuesday afternoon via the Douala International Airport for Kigali-Rwanda.

The entire team received words of motivation and encouragement from the minister of sports Kombi Mouelle and FECAFOOT boss Prince Seidou Mbombo Njoya on Monday in Yaounde.

The Junior Lions under the guidance of coach Thomas Libih will participate in another Pre-AFCON tournament while in Rwanda but this time around just 3 nations will be involved.

The team will leave Rwanda for the final AFCON tournament in Tanzania in April.
Cameroon will face Guinea, Morocco and Senegal in the 8 nations competition as they look to improve the country’s poor performance in the 2017.

Cameroon players are expected to undergo the routine CAF organized age control test in early April before the start of the competition to take place in the Dar Es Salaam.
