In one of his best displays this season, 19-year-old Cameroon forward Taddeus Nkeng Fomakwang was unplayable for FC Porto’s B team in their 4-2 win over Sporting Covilha in the Portuguese second tier.

The former pupil of the Brasseries Football Academy was given a rare start by Rui Barros and he did not disappoint.

He scored their second goal at the 53rd minute before turning provider for their third seven minutes later.

Diego Luiz Landis scored Porto B’s first goal at the 30th minute. Deivison equalized for the visitors at the 34th minute.

Taddeus Nkeng came back for the second half looking a completely different player. He put the home side ahead and set up their third for Alfonso Sousa.

Sporting Covilha halved their deficit through Rodrigo Antonio at the 62nd minute.

Porto B’s first goal scorer, Diego Luiz Landis was sent off with a straight red card at the 75th minute leading to a nail bitting ending to the game.

But the nerves were settled for the home side at the 90th minute through Fabio Vieira, who scored their fourth to restore their two-goals cushion.

Taddeus Nkeng made way for his inseparable teammate and compatriot Boris Takang at the 81st minute.

Porto B are 15th on the 18 teams table with 21 points after 18 games while Sporting Covilha are on the fourth spot with 28 points.
