Cameroon Elite One side Panthere of Nde and Sylvanos Nguekep have terminated their collaboration on mutual agreement following a crisis meeting that held late last week.
According to our sources, management invited to the to review the early season performance and opted for a change.
Nguekep’s second stint as coach of the club lasted six months but he failed to propel them to a comfortable position on the log.
Panthere are 11th in the log after winning two of their seven matches this season in Pool A of the championship.
President Jules Famawa will have to find another trainer before their next outing against Yong Sport Academy of Bamenda.
The decision means Panthère becomes the fourth Elite One side to part ways with their trainer. Cotonsport, Racing and Renaissance have already gone that road.
This season clubs have been more aggressive in their hunt for results as at the end of the season five clubs will be relegated to the second tier competition.
