Tiko United Football club alias Samba boys have been made to face defending Champions of the South West Regional League, Best Stars Academy of Limbe for the second time third time this season.
The next meeting scheduled for Either Wednesday 22 or Thursday, June 23rd will be the Cameroon Cup Competition.
Tiko United were paired alongside same opponent, Best Stars Academy of Limbe in the pool A if the South West Regional League group stage Alongside, Aljazeera SA, Continental FA,Njalla Quan SA, Prisons Buea, Little Foot FC and unofficially relegated Debutants, Termsta of Mamfe.
The first meeting this season between the two clubs was May 31st counting for Match day 5 and Matchday 12(June 9) of the Championship as Pool A contenders.
Best Stars Academy finished first in Pool A with 31 points to qualify for the mini Interpols as first place from the group.
During the first encounter, Best Stars held Tiko United to a 1-1 draw and then beat the Samba boys at home 2-0 on the return leg.
The 2009 Elite Champions and boys of Coach Kengo Raymond have been given the test of time once again to make a change as they meet the likes of, GK Captain Evans Tetteh, Likanjo Jemea, midfield maestro Eta Kufre, Luiz Itare amongst others, under the guidance of President/Coach Djoufack Saturnin.
Released on June 17 after the draws, the pairing comes barely 24hours after Tiko United finished the group stage of the SW Regional League with a 1-0 win over Rivals, Aljazeera SA of Muyuka at the Tiko Town Green Stadium.
Tiko United have recorded three defeats, two draws and nine wins in both the first and second round of the SW Regional Championship. Meanwhile, Best stars lost just two of their 14 matches played.
These two teams all failed to qualify for the Cup of Cameroon as representatives of the South Wedt Region last season. Only unofficially relegates side, EEMSA of Tiko, Cinyodev FA and Option Sport of Limbe represented the region until the round of 8 were option was eliminated by Astres if Douala.
It should be noted that the Cup of Cameroon games drawn today will be on Knockout basis.
A total of 24 teams will take part in the competition as teams from the SW Region.
