The Nigerian Football Federation, NFF at a meeting on Monday decided that the $500,000 US Dollars from FIFA will be utilised for the Super Eagles, Super Falcons and other national teams in the country.
This was one of the decision made by the football ruling body in Nigeria through a video conferencing to discuss the way forward for Nigeria football.
According to a communique released after the meeting, the NFF directed the secretariat to immediately set machinery in motion to ensure the fund is properly utilised as advised by FIFA.
The fund and other monies are for ”Management and Staff salaries, men’s league, women’s league, referees’ development training, National Teams (including boys and girls’ youth teams), office operations, renovations and furnishing of Bauchi NFF/FIFA Technical Centre”among other things.
The NFF board also discussed issues that pertains to auditing of the account of the federation, making the NFF foundation better for former players amongst others.
