Ghanaian international and UEFA champions league winner Sulley Ali Muntari has expressed his desire to don the rainbow colours when football resumes in the country according to a report from Kumasi based Fox FM.
The report have it that Muntari is in advance talk with the club and there is high possibility of sealing the deal shortly.
The report further added that Sulley’s decision to ply his trade with Hearts of Oak was discussed during the clubs last board meeting Thursday.
The formidable midfielder trained with the rainbow team when he returned from Europe the off season about a year ago.
The 35 year old Muntari had a stint with Liberty Professionals before he moved to Udinese in Italy. He moved to England before he returned to Italy where he won UEFA champions league with Inter Milan.
He was a part of Ghanaian squad who qualified the Black Stars to the world cup for the first time in 2006. He has won 84 international caps with 20 goals.
