Indonesian second tier side FC Bekasi City have made veteran striker Herman Dzumafo Epandi their first summer signing, bringing him to city from Bhayangkara Solo FC as a free agent.
The former Cameroon under-20 striker who played Caiman, Cintra, Sable of Batie and Cotonsport of Garoua before moving abroad in 2008 has made a name for himself in the diaspora.
Having enjoyed a successful spell at Persatuan Sepakbola Pekanbaru dan Sekitarnya where he scored 60 goals in 120 games between 2008-2011, he moved Arema Indonesia for a year and then to Persib Bandung before a loan move to Sriwijaya Football Club the next year.
The 42-year-old, who is who is well known around Indonesia scored six goals and provided two assists in 13 league games last season to win a move to City. He made a major impact at every club he has been reason City trust him at his age.
Thd man who has also scored goals for Mitra Kukar, Gresik United, Borneo among others is Cameroon’s oldest footballer in activity but still very reliable.
The Indonesia first division top scorer in the 2008-2009 season will still be around next season to torment defenders in the second tier championship in Indonesia.
