Stéphane Fotso terminates her International career
34 year old Cameroon international female volleyball player, Stéphanie Fotso Mogoung has officially called it quit on international Volleyball.
The 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games participant on her Facebook page, spoke of her interest in focusing on club activities and to give room for the young talents to defend the national colours.
“Taking an international retirement is one of the most difficult decision to be made. I have always defended the national colours with much love, passion and hard work.”
“My departure from the national team will give room for the new generation of players to have an aperçu of the high level competitions.”
“To all the sports administrators in particular, those of the Cameroon Volleyball Federation, l say thank you for everything. To all, l wish good health and success in their endeavors and urge them to continue doing the great job”.
Stephanie Mogoung stands as one of the best female volleyball players to have taken the Cameroonian volleyball to higher heights.
Notable amongst are achievements, are participating in the Volleyball Championships in Yaoundé (2017), Rwanda 2019 and Egypt 2021.
