In a letter signed by the commissioner of youth, sports and social development, Imo state, to Heartland Football Club of Owerri’s General Manager, Godson Onyemaobi dissolution of the club’s management has been announced.

The letter states that the governor of the state, Senator Hope Uzodinnma has dissolved the governing boards and management teams of all the state-owned parastatals.

”Please you may wish to recall that His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinmma, the Executive Governor of Imo State has announced the dissolution of the governing boards and management teams of all the state-owned parastatals, after he shortly assumed office.” The letter stated.

”It has been observed that the management team of Heartland Football Club, with you at the helm of affairs has not compiled with to His Excellency’s directive.

The management of the club has been asked to turn in its resignation and return all properties belonging to club within two days.

”In the light of the foregoing, I have been directed to request you and other members of the club’s management to submit your handover notes, as well as all club’s property in your possession to the undersigned. This should accomplished not later than 48 hours from the receipt of this letter.” The letter concludes.
