The president of Stade Renard of Melong, Jean Kuete Rigolo [Mayor of Melong] has told local media he will pay all employees of the club despite the inactive nature of the Cameroon Elite One championship.
The above promise means Stade Renard noted for paying players via a financial institution will respect the current season’s financial obligations with the staff despite the absence of effective football.
Cameroon Elite One championship games were called off midway into the month of March.
Fortunately for players, their president took advantage of a recent interview granted “Repere” to declare he respect his financial obligations with the players till the end of the pandemic.
Kick442.com understands Stade Renard of Melong principally runned by the politician who also has stakes in different business institutions across Cameroon. The club is one of the few clubs in the country which strictly respects it’s financial commitments with players.
Stade Renard, winners of the 2019 cup of Cameroon become the first of the 32 professional clubs to declare the situation of players since the outbreak of the virus.
Many clubs and Athletes around the world have had to endure a decrease in the their pay package because of the global pandemic, fortunately for the Renard players with an average salary of 100000 FCFA per month they will not be hit by the situation.
This certainly a good move for Nkuissi Thomas Legrand and his mates.
