Stade Renard head coach until this Sunday evening – Gabriel Zabo Toze has stepped down from his role with immediate effect.
The gaffer announced the decision to step down after his side suffered a 4-1 defeat against Panthere of Nde in Match-Day 12 of the 2021-2022.
The sixth defeat in 13 games caused the trainer to loss trust in the project and throw in the towel, thus ending a two-year stint as lead trainer of the Melong outfit.
Zabo replaced Ebwelle Bertin as in June 2020 and guided them to a third place finish last season but have struggled to replicate that form this term. Stade Renard currently occupies the tenth spot on the log, a point off the first relegation spot.
Renard Officials will meet on Monday to discuss the way forward while the trainer focuses on preparing the Indomitable Lionesses for next month’s 2022 AWCON tournament in Morocco.
