The Spanish Professional League has made public the mass salaries package of Spanish LaLiga clubs. Some observers have judged it to be too high.

FC Barcelona lead the pack with a mass salary of €658 million.

Barcelona’s eternal rivals Real Madrid are on the second position with a mass salary package of €641 million, €15 millions lesser than FC Barcelona’s.

Behind the two giants is Atletico Madrid with an annual wage package of €348 million, while Valencia and Villarreal are fourth and fifth respectively.

Valencia spend the total of €177 million annually, ahead of Villarreal’s €113 million.

Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey of Atletico Madrid, Nigerian winger Samuel Chukwueze and Cameroon midfielder Andre Zambo-Anguissa both of Villarreal and Central African Republic’s Geoffrey Kondogbia make up the African continent in the ranks of these higher payers.

The Top five in Spain are:

1- FC Barcelona: €656 million
2- Real Madrid: € 641 million
3- Atletico Madrid: €384 million
4- Valencia: €177 million
5- Villarreal: €113 million
