Southwest Regional League Round 5 matches : Best XI and player Ratings

According to kick442.com judges,the following persons distinguished themselves in their outputs for their respective clubs in match day 5 of the Southwest Regional Championship.

Goalkeeper:

Daniel Ahone(ISOHSA)

On goal, former Victoria United keeper, Ahone Daniel now keeping the goal foe newly promoted ISOHSA made a couple of decisive saves. He is keeps kick442.com goalkeeper for the Region in round 5.

Defensers

RB)Moki Frankline (LIFCA)

The LIFCA right back was simply impeacable on Wednesday afternoon in Tiko. He was a hindrance to the Tiko United team and kept galloping up and down the right flank providing attacking treats while staying strong in the defence.

LB)Ekema Njoku-Buea United

He had his A-game in the left back position winning possession in 60% of his duels and was on the edge of some very important moments for Buea United.

CB) Gerard Anyam-Ajax Likomba

He was simply a wall at the back and won 70% of his duels. Anyam helped Ajax keep their first clean sheet of the season and made a crucial clearance that denied prisons the joy of a goal.

CB-Jimmy Njokam-Buea United

If there is one Man behind stopping Pool B’s best attacking team on Wednesday in Buea then that person is Jimmy.The Buea United player contained the EEMSA frontline and made Buea United a hard knot to crack.

Midfielders

Paul Mbuh-Victoria United

The Midfield meastro revived his class on Wednesday against NQSA in Limbe.He won 60% of his aerial duels and regained possession for Victoria United in 6 occasions.

Bekondo Atonga-NQSA

It was a near perfect demonstration from the attacking Midfield. He was the pivot of many attacking moves for NQSA. He played to coach Tete Edwin’s instructions dropping deep when need be, but provided options upfront whenever NQSA was on the front-foot.

Ngwe Elvis-LIFCA

He dominated the Midfield in the Tiko United LIFCA game. His distribution was second to none in this game and he was involved in the build-up to the LIFCA goal scored by Gwe Beckly.

Forwards

Ngeh Beligne-EEMSA

The left footer was simply classical in his actions in this game.He wipped in 3 crosses in the course of the game and had 4 successful take-ons plus 2 ball recovery.

Atanga Fabrice-CUSA

Batey may have scored the winner in this game, but Atanga Fabrice made the difference with his works in the wings during the game. He registered 3 successful take-ons.

Berkima Derrick-Tiko United

If there is one Man that deserves additional praise for the point Tiko United picked up against LIFCA, then it’s Berkima.

His recovery was good though coach Lucas deployed him to play as a second striker. He was involved in defensive work, using his physicality to the club’s advantage in the game. Berkima was on the end of a loss ball to score the opener for Tiko United.

Coach) Iris Irende (ISOHSA)

Once again he worked his magic with a 1 nil win over Pool C leaders. His ISOHSA team stopped forward thinking CINYODEV from scoring and picked up a 1 nil win.

Buea United have two representatives all defenders after the clubs clean sheet against EEMSA that had scored 2 or more goals in their previous 4 games. LIFCA also have also have two players for their entertaining Football against a solid Tiko United team and fans in Tiko while Tiko United,ISOHSA,EEMSA,CUSA,NQSA, Victoria United and Ajax Likomba have one player each in the Round 5 XI.
