- Souleymanou is in for Pouaty
Colombe have signed goalkeeper Souleymanou Souleymanou to a two-year contract after the Cameroon international completed a move from vice champions Eding Sport de la Lekie on Friday.
The free spending ambitious Elite One side didn’t pay a transfer fee but outsmarted Cotonsport, Astre and PWD in the race for the keeper.
Souleymanou has signed a two-year deal with the South Region outfit and has been unveiled.
The experience keeper returns to Colombe where he was between 2019 and 2020, hoping to be a fitting replacement for Moise Pouaty who recently joined Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
He becomes Colombe’s fifth signing this window; following the footsteps of Franck Djaleu, Onanina Koufle Junior Gaitan, Ferrent Ango among others signed so far.
The ex-Bang Bullet and Ngaoundere FC keeper will compete with Nfor Norbert for a starters role when the new season gets underway on October 15.
