Cameroon’s National Oil Refinery (SONARA) has agreed to join the Njalla Quan Sports Academy and Grey-Lab Walk for life initiative.
A recent post on the official social media handle of the Njalla Quan Sports Academy of Limbe has confirmed the involvement of the SONARA as one of the main sponsors.
“Central Africa’s largest Oil Refinery, the National Refining Company ltd (SONARA), has joined the walk for life as one of our main Sponsors!
Despite going through challenging moments due last year’s unfortunate fire incident which prompted a shutdown of it’s production units, the Company led by Mr Jean-Paul Simo Njonou has once more demonstrated it’s position as an exemplary corporate citizen.
Our appreciation goes to the Top Management of SONARA for this unique gesture aimed at improving the quality of life.

Noted for its diversified range of products in the sports business, the Njalla Quan Sports Academy of Limbe has decided to reach out to its community through the Walk and health campaign in December.
The is keen on enhancing the growth of their relationship with their niche and improving the health and sports cautiousness of this ecology.
Per plans unveiled by Messrs Henry Njalla Quan Junior and Ekiti Martin (Dr) on Saturday, September 26, the populations of Limbe I, II, III will between, December 16– 19, 2020 be screened for Diabetes, Hypertension, Obesity, health talks and have a walk across the city in the final day.
The initiative guided by the theme, “Stay Active, Live Healthy,” is a free for all initiative which has as main objective to pull at least 10 top notch medical doctors and a battery of nursing experts over the period of the event.
Besides the free screening, health talks, the organizers plan to hand gifts to every participant in the event.
Njalla Quan Sports Academy of Limbe has been similar territory before.
A 45 Kilometer Idenau-Limbe International Marathon of the yesteryears pulled thousands of participants and sympathizers at home and abroad for years.
It promises to be a December to remember for the Njalla Quan Sports Academy as in addition to the walk for life, plans are on the offing for an Under-13 football tournament in memory of the founder of the institution the great Henry Njalla Quan of blessed memory who left an indelible mark on sports and football in particular before his demise in 2012.
There is a likelihood that the celebration of the the institutions 20th anniversary gets into the picture not too long from now.
The non-governmental and corporate social responsibility oriented project has also recieved the endorsement of legendary Albert Roger Milla, Adolphe Claude Moundi aka Petit Pays plus Cameroonians in close to a thousand keen on participating in the event way ahead of the the official registration date.
The involvement of SONARA in the walk is a major step towards a potentially successful event.
