Cameroon’s first choice left back and AFCON 2017 winner Ambroise Oyongo Bitolo has made some bold declarations on french newspaper “Le Messager”.Speaking about the unprofessional management of football in Cameroon, on Thursday, the Montpellier defender didn’t mince words.
The 28-year totally unhappy about the way football is managed in the nation.
He voiced:”I can tell you that some of our big players would not return to the national team because of lack of leadership. There is nothing to do with the story of patriotism which is always talked about“.
The recent outing is not in total disagreement with the “series’ and “films” played in a “cinema hall” between the Cameroon national team players and FECAFOOT before the trip to Egypt for the just ended AFCON.
The former Cotonsport of Garoua man has been almost indispensable to the national team since 2010 with the U20’s before being promoted in 2013 to the senior team.
Up till this point Ambroise Oyongo has been one of those serving the country whole heartedly – and ensuring the camp is in good spirits with good choices of music and dance steps.

There is time for stakeholders to salvage the issue before Oyongo’s “prophecy” materialises.
