Former Valencia midfielder, Sofiane Feghouli is linkedwwith a return to Spain in the upcoming transfer window.
Turkish media is reporting that the Galatasaray midfielder is on the wishlist of Spanish La Liga side, Real Betis.
The 30-year-old Algerian international has had a scintillating campaign at Galatasaray, unfortunately the club’s finances seem to be drying-up.
The midfielder has scored six goals, providing five assists in 30 games in the ongoing season.
One month ago, Galatasaray listed the former West Ham United midfielder amongst players expected to leave the club.
Though the former France youth international has repeatedly insist on staying at the Club, it is increasingly looking like he will move in the summer.
Fortunately for the player who wants to stay and Galatasaray who are keen on parting company with the player, Betis could break the deadlock.
Officials of the Andalusian club are keen admirers of Feghouli’s, knowledge of the game and see him as a player that can instantly solve their midfield problems from next season.
The 2019 AFCON winner joined Galatasaray in 2017 on a five-year-deal.
The Algerian international with 12 goals from 62 caps is currently value at €6 Million according to Transfermarkt.
With two years left in his Galatasaray contract, Betis must pay €6 Million for Feghouli’s possible return to Spain.
His compatriot Aïssa Mandi with whom he won the 2019 AFCON is on the books of the club.
