Teenage Malian striker Siriné Doucouré has agreed a three-year-deal to join French Ligue 2 outfit Châteauroux first following a brilliant 2019-2020 season with the Under-18 team of the club.

A statement from the Club this week confirmed the full employment of 18-year-old forward.

“La Berrichonne de Châteauroux is very pleased to announce the signing of the first professional contract lasting three seasons for their young striker, a product of the Club’s Academy,” a statement from the Club confirmed the deal.

The player followed the Club’s announcement of the deal with an emotional message confirming his delight.

“I am very proud and happy to sign my first professional contract in the Club that trained me. This contract symbolizes the culmination of a lot of work and sacrifice, but it is not an end in itself: the work is just beginning and the hardest part is yet to come,”

Talking the hardest part, the Club’s coach Nicolas USAÏ revealed that the former Paris FC man has the potential to shine at the Club.

“Siriné is a very young boy who played very good games in Gambardella and with the National Under 19 team last season. When I saw him play, I saw very interesting potential in him,” coach USAÏ stated.

The player and his mates will surely set out with hopes to help their club back to the French Ligue 1 Championship.

Born in Paris France, he remains eligible to represent his parents nation, Guinea.
