Free agent Georges Constant Mandjeck is still in the hunt for a new work place.
The 31-year-old Cameroonian midfielder has been a free agent since his departure from Czech outfit Sparta Prague.
According to AllezLesLions.net, FC Sion officials are in the market for a midfielder with the attributes that matches that of Mandjeck and are in talks with the erstwhile Kaiserslautern midfielder.
Last month, this Pan-African Sports News Agency reported that the player is in touch with former Bayern Munich boss Felix Macgath and in view of a possible switch to the latter’s present Club. Besiktas have also shown interest.
The Douala-native reported the Sparta to FIFA last year following contract disputes between him and the Club. It is likely that the case may affect player’s decision.
The Kadji Sports Academy has had some sort of a journey-man’s career featuring for nine Clubs across six countries.
2017 AFCON winner, Mandjeck has won 50 caps for the indomitable Lions Cameroon and remains far from done with the business of football.
