24-year-old Nigerian international, Simon Moses is a subject of interest from French league 1 sides; Stade Rennes and Olympique Lyonnais.
The Nigerian international had a sensational season on loan at FC Nantes scoring nine goals, providing eight assists from 30 games with the Canaries.
His brilliant performances for Christian Gourcouff’s side earned him the FC Nantes fans player of the season award 24 hours ago.
This Friday’s reports from a Nigerian outlet ojbsports.com stated that, despite Nantes public interest to activate the player’s release clause, Lyon and champions League bound Stade Rennes have made an official contract offer to the player.
This comes barely 24 hours after the player’s entourage watered-down speculations that FC Nantes had paid Levante’s expected €4 million to get him on a permanent deal to last for four years.
The same source says the player still favours a stay at Nantes but is fascinated by Lyon’s history and Rennes’ involvement in the prestigious UEFA Champions League but will look at the contractual consequences to Levante and the player’s interest before making the final decision.
The Jos native has won 30 caps for the Super Eagles of Nigeria from which he has scored five goals.
