Simba SC set to face JS Saoura in CAF CL
19 Time Champions of the Tanzanian Premier League ,Simba Sport Club are poised to face Algerian side JS Soura with hopes for a second CAF Champion League win over their opponents in match day 5 coming up this weekend in Bechar, Algeria.
The Tanzanian arrived Dubai on Monday and spent the night there from where they will head to Algeria to face their group D opponents.

Simba SC take a 3-0 beat JS Soura of Algeria in the first game between the siedes in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania.
Meddie Kagere scored a brace as he came off the bench to replace John Bocco while Emmanuel Okwi joined him on the score sheet. Simba Sport is ranked 2nd of group D just a point below group leaders Al Ahly of Egypt.
A win for the 1993 CAF Cup finalist will take them to the first spot provided Ahly pulls a draw or records a defeat with AS Vita Club. Their opponent JS Souara are hoping for a win ,possible of taking them to the second spot. They are 3rd of the group with 5 points after 4 days of play.
The top flight Algerian professional league side are undefeated at home in the CL this season. They have conceded in one of their last 5 home games with four wins and a draw.
The Eagles of Meridja as they are fondly referred to recorded a 1-0 win in their last CAF Champions League match against AS Vita Club. They host Simba SC who lost their CAF CL away fixture to Al Ahly but have been able to secure wins in their last five away fixture in the Tanzanian Premier League.
Both teams are in need of a win so as to secure the first two top spot necessary to qualify for the next round of the CAF champions League.
JS Souara gained promotion to the Algerian Ligue Professionnel 1 for the first time since it’s creation in 2006 and have since then had a good run in their league.
The club’s best finish was in 2015 and also last season when she finished runner-up of the Algerian League with just 8 defeats in 30 matches. They hope to keep their home records intact against one of Tanzanian most titled clubs.
