Simy Tochukwu Nwankwo scored two goals and had an assist for his Italian Serie A side, Crotone in the course of their 4-1 home win over Benevento on Sunday.

Kamil Gilk scored an own goal in the fourth minute to give the host the lead at the Stadio Ezio Scida (Crotone).
He scored an unfortunate own goal after deflecting the ball into his net.

Simy Nwankwo increased their lead in the 29th minute. He pounced on a loose ball inside the box and beats the goalkeeper with a shot that went into the bottom left corner.

Simy made it 3-0 for Crotone in the 54th minute when he finds some space inside the box to meet a beautiful cross and with a precise low drive puts the ball into the bottom right corner.

Simy Nwankwo also assisted Milos Vulic for Crotone’s fourth goal.

Milos Vulic scored Crotone’s fourth goal in the 65th minute. He finds some space just outside the penalty area after exchanging the ball with his teammate and strikes a shot towards the goal that goes inside the right post.

Iago Falqué pulled one goal back for the visitors in the 82nd minute.

Simy Tochukwu Nwankwo has scored six goals for Crotone this season in the Italian Serie A as he played for the duration of his side’s week 18 victory.

Bottom placed Crotone will visit Fiorentina in their next game on January 23 in a bid to beat the drop after their promotion from Italian Serie B.
