In an interview granted to Canal+ Afrique TV channel, Ivorian defender Serge Aurier revealed his interest for a return to French Ligue 1 outfit Paris Saint-Germain.
The Tottenham defender revealed that he wants to return to PSG and even end his career in the French capital.
“I will like to end my career with PSG. That’s the club of my heart. I will wish to share more love with the people in Paris, be it journalists or the rest of the people in Paris. I have a feeling of unfinished business in Paris,” the Ivorian international right-back said.
“It’s my club right from my childhood, I was going to the Parc de Princes to watch games. It was a dream come true for me to join PSG and I think the dream is not over yet.
“If I had to finish my career with PSG, I will gladly do so. If I could spend my entire career at Paris I would never have had any problems with that.
“I have my entire family in Paris, I am from this city as well, I can’t wish for anything better.
“Today I am playing my football elsewhere, I just try to be the best wherever I find myself. I follow PSG from a distance, but the club remains my favorite and that will never change. It’s not a question of money.”
Aurier left PSG in 2017 to join Tottenham for €25 million under controversial circumstances. The 27-year-old is tied to Spurs until June 2022.
The former Toulouse defender has featured in 33 games across all competitions for Tottenham this season,he has scored two goals.
