Former Intermediate Lions of Cameroon defender Basile Yamkam A Mbouri has been named in the Serbian top-flight team of Match-day 36 following his defensive exploits for Radnicki in their 2-0 win against Backa Topola last weekend in a title play-offs fixture.
Basile who played a key role in the win showed his versatile attributes operating as a center-back, right-back and a holding midfielder across the 90 minutes of the game.
The productive afternoon which marked his 15 appearance for the club earned the former PWD man a spot in the team of the week alongside Micibuci as the players selected from Coach Radoslav Batak’s team.
Radnicki and Spartak are the two sides with two players each while the rest of the clubs from which players were picked including Partizan Belgrade have one player in the team of the week.

The recent feat is Basile’s first since arriving Serbia from PWD where he won the 2020 Elite One title.
Basile’s versatile nature has earned praises in Serbia and improved chances of his club qualification for the UEFA Conference League.
Radnicki needs a point in their final playoffs game against Red Stars Belgrade on Saturday to qualify for next season’s UEFA Conference League.
24-year old Basile was part of the Cameroon team that finished fourth at CHAN 2020.
Besides being at PWD, Yamkam also played for Lion Blesse of Fortune back in his days in Cameroon.
