The president of the Cameroon Football Federation, FECAFOOT, has recorded a landslide win in today’s elections into the CAF executive committee (ExCom).
The 49-year old Cameroonian football administrator toppled incumbent Adoum Djibrine by 45 votes to seven to secure the Central African sit barely 24 hours after he was cleared to run for the elections.
Prince Mbombo Njoya’s victory is a massive success for Cameroon football.
It gives the Central African nation the rights to influence executive decisions at the highest football institution on the continent.
The new ExCom has seven members

Wadie Jary 🇹🇳 – North
Mustapha Raji 🇱🇷 – West A
Seidou Mbombo Njoya 🇨🇲 – Central
Djibrilla Hamidou 🇳🇪 – West B
Souleiman Waberi 🇩🇯 – Central East
Elvis Chetty 🇸🇨 – South
Maclean Letshwithi 🇧🇼 – South
Kanizat Ibrahim 🇰🇲 – Female
Mbombo Njoya previously served at CAF and masters the politics of the institution thus making his return to the institution a bonus for CAF and Cameroon, not leaving out Cameroon Football.
Friday’s elections at CAF has produce Ahmad Ahmad’s replacement in Patrice Motsepe of South Africa.
