2019 Under-17 AFCON winner Seidou Ismaël has agreed a deal to join Cameroon top-flight Championship outfit Union Sportive of Douala, kick442.com can exclusively report.
The five times champions of Cameroon penned a one-year deal with the player before the close of the transfer window late last week.
It is the player’s first Elite contract having starred for Internationale of Yaoundé for as many seasons.
Ismaël feature in all five games last year for Cameroon as they defeated Guinea to claim the Under-17 AFCON trophy and went on to play all three games in the Under-17 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
He was voted man of the match in the second group game against Morocco after scoring twice off the bench.
The speedy winger also ended the tournament as cameroon’s lead scorer with two goals.
A handful of Clubs were keen on signing the tricky winger but he has opted for Union Sportive of Douala for undisclosed reasons.
Seidou will join the rest of the squad guided by coach Richard Towa and Ina Ngassa ahead of the 2020-2021 season expected to kick off next month.
