28 year old Ivorian forward, Sébastien Haller has left his new club’s preseason training camp after being diagnosed of testicular tumor.
In a press release, Dortmund revealed that , the player first complained of not feeling well during training on Monday.
A test was later carried out noticing a tumor ,with Haller returning to Germany for further tests.
“This news today came as a shock to Sebastien Haller and everyone else,” the club’s sporting director, Sebastian Kehl, explained.
“The entire BVB family hopes that Sébastien makes a full recovery as soon as possible and that we can give him a hug again soon. We’ll do everything in our power to ensure that he receives the best possible treatment.”
The Bundesliga player joined BVB from Dutch club Ajax earlier this month . As sign of support, his former club twitted «Seb » along side a heart and prayer emojis.
